Simple, kind and practical
A choice, never a time-out
A Calm Corner works when children can come and go as they need. The kit explains how to teach it before you need it.
Adults go first
Use the corner yourself, out loud, so children see that every adult has big feelings too.
Sounds that settle
Lake morning or soft rain at a low volume, with a fade-out timer, or a walk from storm to morning for a big feeling.
