Breathe with the heart

Pick how you are right now, breathe along with a big, gentle heart, then notice how you feel. Nothing you choose is saved or sent.

Breathe along, slowly

This tool needs JavaScript to run the breathing heart. You can still do it without a screen:

  1. Breathe in slowly for a count of four.
  2. Breathe out slowly for a count of six.
  3. Do this six times, or keep going for as long as feels good.

All zones are okay. If you feel unsafe or very distressed, talk to a trusted adult or a qualified professional.

How to use it together

With a child or a class

Choose a zone together, press Start and breathe along with the heart. The words on screen say when to breathe in and when to breathe out. Afterwards, ask: how do you feel now? Any answer is fine.

Made for everyone

It works with a keyboard (Tab, then Enter or Space; Escape stops). If your device is set to reduce motion, the heart stays still and you follow the words and the counter. Sound is off unless you turn it on.

A short, gentle pause

This is a calm moment to share, not medical or therapeutic advice. If a child or an adult seems very distressed, talk to a trusted adult or a qualified professional.
